Isaiah 19 Ukraine
Fulfilling the Prophecy and Blessing of Isaiah 19
Our Mission
"Isaiah 19" is the beautiful scene described in Isaiah chapter 19 in the Bible.
Isaiah 19:24 In that day Israel will be the third, along with Egypt and Assyria, a blessing on the earth.
To bring blessings to the people of the earth is the purpose of the establishment of "Isaiah 19", and the purpose of the establishment of "Isaiah 19 Ukraine" is to bring blessings to the people of Ukraine.
Christ’s Invitation and Reward
“And if anyone gives even a cup of cold water to one of these little ones who is my disciple, truly I tell you, that person will certainly not lose their reward.” —Matthew 10:42
“Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.” —Matthew 25:40
Jesus Christ invites us to provide help and blessings to those in need, and when we do, we are actually serving Christ Himself.
This is not just an act of charity, but an investment in the kingdom of God. Every cup of cold water we give, every act of help and care, will be rewarded in eternity. What a wonderful promise!
Caring for Orphans Ministry
Teaching English
Our volunteers regularly go to orphanages in Ukraine to teach children English, helping them gain better opportunities for future development. Through language learning, these children not only acquire practical skills but also build confidence and hope.
Cooking Class
We teach children in orphanages basic cooking skills, which is not only a survival skill but also a cultivation of creativity. The cooking class is full of laughter and a sense of accomplishment, adding color to the children's lives.
Visiting Care
Regular visits to orphanages are an important part of our ministry. We bring supplies, toys, and care, so that these children feel loved and valued. Every visit is a practical demonstration of the love of Jesus.
Serving the Jewish Community
Providing English Teaching for the Jewish Community
As one of the important missions of Isaiah 19 Ministry, we actively provide English teaching services to the Jewish community in Ukraine. This not only helps them use English in their daily life and work, but also provides language preparation for those who are considering returning to Israel (aliyah).
Through English teaching, we have built trust and friendship with the Jewish community, which creates natural opportunities to share faith and witness the love of Christ. We respect everyone's cultural and religious background and serve them with sincerity and humility.
Aid Mission in War
Following the outbreak of the Russo-Ukrainian War in 2022, "Isaiah 19 Ukraine" quickly adjusted its ministry focus to provide emergency assistance to families affected by the war. Our mission is not only to serve in times of peace, but also to stand up in times of crisis and be the hands and feet of Christ.
Provide Accommodation
Provide temporary shelter for families displaced by the war, giving them a place to stay in turbulent times.
Making Bedding
Ensuring displaced families have basic sleeping arrangements.
Providing Supplies
Meeting the basic living needs of war victims.
Caring for Women and Children in War
During times of war, women and children are often the most vulnerable groups. "Isaiah 19 Ukraine" pays special attention to the needs of these groups, providing targeted assistance and care.
Providing Suitable Learning Environments for Children
Establish Temporary Classrooms
Establish temporary classrooms in safe areas, equipped with basic learning supplies and equipment, to provide learning places for displaced children.
Collaboration with Other Organizations
Isaiah 19 Ukraine firmly believes that fulfilling the prophecy of Isaiah 19 requires the concerted efforts of all God's children. Therefore, we actively establish cooperative relationships with other groups in the same field to work together for God's kingdom.
Technical Support
We provide technical support to other Christian organizations, including website construction, furniture making, interior design, etc., to help them spread the gospel and carry out ministry more effectively.
Venue Support
We open our venues to other organizations and groups for meetings, training, fellowship and other activities, providing services to other NGOs or groups.
Resource Sharing
We share resources with other organizations, including materials, volunteers, contact networks, etc., to maximize the effectiveness of every resource and serve people in need more effectively.
Caring for Recipients, But Don't Forget the Heroic Hosts
War not only causes great suffering for displaced people, but also poses multiple physical, mental, and spiritual challenges for families who open their doors to receive refugees. They not only have to bear additional living expenses, but also face emotional stress, fatigue, and uncertainty. These selfless "hosts" are invisible heroes, and their support is an important cornerstone of social stability.
"Isaiah 19 Ukraine" recognizes the needs of these hosts, and therefore regards caring for their mental health as an important ministry. We provide support to these silent heroes in the following ways:
Visits and Listening
Our volunteers visit host families, take time to listen to their stories, feel their stress, and provide material support.
Material and Financial Assistance
Where possible, we provide additional material assistance to alleviate the financial burden of hosting refugees.
We believe that only when these hosts receive enough care and support can they continue to show love and be a blessing to more people.
